How the SPC5746R's CAN function allows both standard and extended frames to be received and sent.

When I configure the CAN function, I find that only one type of standard frame or extended frame can be configured. I want to realize that both standard frame and extended frame can be received and sent. What should I do?

Hi,

you have two options.
- by default MB's IDE bit is always compared with received one, so you can config another MB that will have IDE bit set
- if you want to use single MB to receive both std. and ext IDs, then set CTRL2[EACEN] and clear respective mask bit in used mask acceptance register
