How do I start CMU functioning?

Hi NXP Team:

I am confused about the CMU part in 5744RM. Can anyone just tell me how to start CMU0 functioning when 5744 boots? I think I need to make sure that XOSC is working well before configuring it as the sysclk source, is it?
