Free compiler for MPC574x

We purchased the MPC574x-MB and MPC574x-176DS. Also we have sample application source of MPC5748.

But, we didn't build to this source. Because we don't have compiler.

So, I want to free compiler for MPC5748. Or even a evaluation(..lite)... What kind of free compiler? (exception codebench IDE of Mentor)

Hi,

You can use Wind River Diab Compiler 5.9.4 Evaluation but it is limited to 30 days free use.

But if you wait, you can use Freescale S32 Design Studio which will also support MPC57xx and it will be free. S32DS release is planned for November.

I'm very interested in S32 Design Studio for Power. I've seen a couple release dates come and go.  I have a project starting up right now that I'd be interested in using it for. Are you looking for beta testers? ;-)
