CRC for MC56F8367

Hello,

I am using MC56F8367MPYE processor. And need to develop a CRC for the flash contents and also a SREC file just like as mentioned in this document - "Generate CRC value for MPC56xx in CodeWarrior for MCU v10.6.4.pdf" (https://community.nxp.com/t5/CodeWarrior-for-MCU-Knowledge/Generate-CRC-value-for-MPC56xx-in-CodeWar....

However, I see that inside the bin directory there are CRC folders for other MCUs ( such as CRC_56F8246 ). But there is NO such folder for the processor I am using - MC56F8367. And hence, I do not see my CRC being created. Can you please help me in understanding a way to create a CRC for my processor under given circumstances ?

Hi,

I suppose that the crcgen.exe feature also adapts to DSC family, this is a feature of CW for mcu tools.

Pls refer to section 18.1 Using CRCgen on Microcontrollers in the attached file.
