BIST Offline Testing

Hi,

I assume that offline BIST testing will not enable FCCU as a fault reaction, as FCCU Only way is to take action on offline BIST results is, application should read the offline bist results and trigger the respective FCCU or reset action based on fault.

Kindly correct me If I am wrong.

Hi,

Yes the BIST test do not configure anything in micro, nor FCCU.

It is user responsibility to take care of BIST results. It is not required to trigger reset via FCCU in case test fails.

You can also use mode transition to reset mode or external reset.
