Assumed Answered

Can I ask that people do not mark questions as assumed answered. It should be up to the person asking the question to do this. When prematurely marked as answered, it is very hard to ask more questions relating the subject, as the discussion is no longer looked at.

Unfortunately this is the process we have.

“Assumed Answered” is a status set by person who answered question and he think this question is correctly.

In comparison to that “Answered” is a status set by person who asked the question and this should be his confirmation the answer is correct - this may be achieved by button “Mark as correct”.

Then button “Unmark correct” appears and you can return thread to the original state marked with “?” thus it’ll be no longer ignored by other people.
