We have a MIMXRT798S board, and we're trying to use MCUlink. We downloaded Linkserver 25.7.33 for Linux from the NXP site. When we run it, we get an error message

/usr/local/LinkServer/LinkServer gdbserver MIMXRT798S:EDNA

INFO: Exact match for MIMXRT798S:EDNA found
INFO: Selected device MIMXRT798S:EDNA
CRITICAL: Critical error
ERRMSG: launcher.core.utils.NoFreePortError: No available port in range 11111:11211 for host

Could you please help us resolve the issue? Thank you.

Hi @TaliB

The i.MX RT700 is still under preproduction, therefore, I should only remind you that your main support channel for you is  your direct NXP representative.

Are you running Linux natively or in a Virtual Machine? Also, which distro are you using?

I see that you are running a GDB server command. I do not know if this problem on your OS. We can try narrow down the issue by testing other linkserver commands. You could try using the LinkFlash GUI to test easily other commands.

Thank  you,

Diego
