How to use an m_sramx memory region?

Hi NXP team,

I am using MCXN547 with MCUXpresso SDK and noticed that the linker script defines an m_sramx memory region.

Could you clarify how this memory region is intended to be used? Specifically:

1. Do variables need to be explicitly placed into the m_sramx section using a compiler attribute or section macro?
2. Or will the linker automatically place variables into m_sramx when the default SRAM region becomes full?
3. Is m_sramx suitable for large DMA buffers or eDMA TCD pools? Are there any cache, bus-access, or performance considerations when using it with DMA?

I would appreciate an example of how to place a buffer in m_sramx in an MCUXpresso SDK project.
