Flash write access with AHB

Hi, I would like to know if flash write access is supported by mimxrt1050 controller and NOR flash QSPI. I read that only in hyperflash was available this but i would like to confirm this.

The MIMXRT1050's FlexSPI controller fully supports read, write, and erase operations for QSPI NOR flash; using it on the EVK board simply requires hardware modifications to switch from the default HyperFlash chip.

Yes, the FlexSPI controller on the i.MX RT1050 and RT1060 series fully supports write access to external QSPI NOR flash using the AHB bus. The capability is not exclusive to HyperFlash.

The FlexSPI controller is designed with a flexible architecture to support various external memory types, including Serial NOR Flash (which covers QSPI), HyperFlash, and HyperRAM . The controller provides memory-mapped read and write access through the AHB bus for any of these supported devices .
