FRDM-947 multi-core examples compile fails on long paths

Hi,

Evaluating the MCXN series. I have the FRDM-947 and am running the examples using both MCUXpresso and VS Code. MCUXpresso, no issue. VS code is having compile issues with regard to long filenames. I have renamed the project which helped but it still fails on the secondary core build.

How do I correct this in VS Code?

Also, an aside, changes re required to have the debug printf work for these examples. Not too bad to correct in MCUXpresso but in VS Code I can't find a way to make the same changes.

It's great there are examples but they should work out of the box.

Thx for your help

Hi @mkraft

Thanks for your post,

Could you please specify with which examples do this error occur?

Could also give some examples of the filenames?

Which version MCUXpresso for VSCode are you using?

I am using V1.109.5

The multi-core examples , Hello World and freertos message buffers. I have tried just those two so far. I expect others.
