I am using the MCUXpresso IDE version MCUXpresso IDE v11.1.1 [Build 3241] [2020-03-02].
I had created a project some time back and I want to add code for communicating on the SPI interface. Since I am new to the Cortex M platform and the MCUXpress environment I needed to check the the SDK reference manual for the APIs provided for accessing the SPI peripheral.
I was unable to locate the MCUXpresso API reference manual from the "Installed SDK" tab. I have attached the screenshot for the SDK documentation that gets listed.
When I download the SDK using the NXP SDK builder webpage and build and download the SDK for my specific part (MK12DN512VLK5) it comes with the API reference manual the zip file that is downloaded. I guess this is what is called the file system SDK
Since the MCUXpresso user guide recommends installing the SDKs from the IDE as plugin SDK as compared to filesystem SDKs, why isn't the SDK API reference manual a part of the plugin SDK downloaded by the IDE? How do I access this reference manual from within the IDE
