Hi,
I have the MIMXRT1170-EVK board. When making an SDK for it, I can choose between evkmimxrt1170 and evkbmimxrt1170. What is the difference? When to choose which one?

Hi @simmania
The EVKB is the second version that include erratas fixes. I recommend you to use this revision (EVKB).
Best Regards, Miguel.
Sometimes you guys (NXP) are really good at NOT answering questions:
Why do images built with the RT1170 EVK SDK not run on a RT1170 EVKB (and vice versa)?
Correction:
evkmimxrt1170 and evkbmimxrt1170 seem to be for different boards. I have the MIMXRT1170-EVK board, so I need the evkmimxrt1170. When using the evkbmimxrt1170, I get strange errors.
Thanks for the correction, I assumed you were using revision B from the RT1170.
Best Regards, Miguel.

Hi, is there a document somewhere that outlines what Errata are fixed in MIMXRT1170-EVKB (vs. MIMXRT1170-EVK)? A design we have in process was originally based on the MIMXRT1170-EVK and I want to make sure that we incorporate any fixes in MIMXRT1170-EVKB. Also, code that we had compiled for the EVKB is not running at all on the EVK so we'd like to know what the specific hardware differences are.
Here are the differences between the i.MX RT1170 EVK and i.MX RT1170 EVKB:
There is a EVKB Hardware User Guide that includes this table coming out soon. It is recommended that any new users to RT1170 use the EVKB board as it is the newer board and includes more features as you can see above.
Also per the original question, make sure to download the correct SDK for your version of the board:
i.MXRT1170 EVK: SDK_2_14_0_MIMXRT1170-EVK
i.MX RT1170 EVKB: SDK_2_14_0_MIMXRT1170-EVKB
