When I try with "Import folder" it says:

The following items are not supported or not valid SDKs

The projects in LPCOpen packages are imported using the Quickstart Panel "Import Projects from filesystem" option.

For more details, please see the MCUXpresso IDE User Guide - provided inside the product, or downloadable from http://www.nxp.com/mcuxpresso/ide/documentation

We added a tutorial video for this:

https://www.nxp.com/video/mcuxpresso-ide-using-lpcopen-examples:MCUXPRESSO-IDE-USING-LPCOPEN

It applies for an LPC board with LPCOpen support.

Any feedback welcome/appreciated!
