CodeWarrior Node-Lock: USB Dongle or NIC MAC Address

We are planning to purchase this IDE:

"CodeWarrior Development Suite - Standard Edition, Annual Subscription, Node-locked License"

How is the "node-lock" implemented for this Suite?

Is it through network card MAC or through USB dongle?

(We prefer USB dongle, is this possible?)
