Best way to mix sdk examples?

Hello all,

One thing i am always wondering is, how can i mix examples in a easy way, lets suppose i want to mix the timer and ADC examples our build my own project and using the most important part of each one.

Is there a tutorial or somewhere i can get a better understanding on how to do it?

What are the important places i need to mix or modify to make it work?

There is Manage SDK Components tool integrated in MCUXpresso IDE 10.2.0

 Please note: Adding/removing components could potentially break your project. Please use this feature carefully.

I am learning so i will do the experiments before a real project.

Hope this new tool stay steady for a while. the last version i felt comfortable using was codewarrior 6.3. still the best for me.
