NEW LPC1769

I downloaded LPCXpresso on Mac (and windows 10). However, on both operating systems it says "emulator cannot be found" when I run debugging. I've tried reinstalling the program, unplugging, and powering on/off. I've spent hours on the computer trying to find out what is causing this error and I have not been able to find anything that helps yet.

I have another LPC1769 board (exact same) that can be found by the windows computer, but not the Mac. So that's confusing..

Any help? Thank you!!!

Hi Anna Young

Sorry for the delay.

  •  Are you using the  LPCXpresso 1769?

If that is the case, please note that the board has an LPC1135 as a debugger chip.

The debugger chip requires to have its firmware updated to avoid compatibility problems.

The following thread can help you to know how to update the firmware on the New board.

Flashing and Installing the new firmware and drivers for LPC11U35 debug probes

  • For the MAC, you may check this link

Please, let me know if this was helpful.
