I finished importing the SDK project 'lpc54018iotmodule_led_blinky' after installing the MCUExpresso IDE, built the project and then no matter running the Debug or Release version, I encountered the problem of:

Cannot run program

lpc54018iotmodule_led_blinky.axf: Launching failed

Do hope that someone can help me on the above.

Thanks

Dear Alexis,

I just installed the driver but unfortunately after the debugger probe is connected the device detected under the Ports (COM & LPT) of my Device Manager is 'USB Serial Device (COM3)', instead of the expected 'NXP LPC11Uxx VCOM (COM24)' as described in the README file of the driver.

This is weird!

Best regards,

SL

Dear stanley@uicusa.com‌,

In my computer this also happens but I can use the debug interface after this. Did you have problems after installing the drivers?

Hi Alexis,

I was using the LPC54018-based IoT Module, snapped into the IoT Mini Prototype Board, with the USB cable connected to the CMSIS DAP micro-B USB connector of the Mini Prototype board.

Thanks,

SL

Dear stanley@uicusa.com‌,

This board use the LPC11U35 as a debug probe so I would try to install the driver fro this MCU, if you already have MCUXpresso installed you can find it in the following path:

C:\nxp\MCUXpressoIDE_11.0.0_2516\Drivers\LPC11Uxx_Debug_Probe_VCOM.EXE

I hope this helps you.

Best Regards,

Alexis Andalon

Hi stanley@uicusa.com‌,

Can you let me know which debugger are you using?

Also, are you using the IOT Baseboard?

Best Regards,

Alexis Andalon
