[MCXN247] Missing LPFLEXCOMM8/9 instance?

Hello,

we are currently in the process of integrating a MCXN247VKL MCU into our product.
I am using the MCUXpresso Config Tool to generating pin_mux.c/.h, peripherals.c/.h, etc.

We have a simple UART Rx/Tx connected to the Pins 62 and 63, which should be capable of providing FlexCOMM functionality of instance FlexCOMM8. But in the config tool there are only 8 FlexCOMM instances (0-7) available for the MCXN247VKL. According to the datasheet this MCU should have 10 FlexCOMM instances and Pins 62 and 63 should be connected to FlexCOMM8.

Is there anything I am missing or why are there only 8 FlexCOMM instances?
I am using MCUXpresso Config Tool Version 26.03

Thank you for the post!

The MCXN247 does not support FC8 and FC9. There is an error in the datasheet, and the internal team is already working on updating the documentation.
