Hi,

I just downloaded new Power Estimation Tool for Kinetis, but after installation, I cannot select any Series or MCU.

Did anyone already test this tool?

Thanks,

Stan

I had the same problem on Windows 7 PC behind the proxy. It was resolved by modifying the kpet.bat as below (if you don't want to enter proxy ip and port settings manually):

start  jre/bin/javaw -Djava.net.useSystemProxies=true -Dcom.freescale.restapi.server=http://kex.freescale.com -jar mainWwin32.jar

Thanks,

Rini

I had this problem on a PC behind a firewall/proxy.  It seems the java program doesn't system proxy settings.  TO force a manual proxy, in kpet.bat, change the second line to start:

  start jre/bin/javaw -Dhttp.proxyHost=proxyname.or.ip.address -Dhttp.proxyPort=proxy_port_number

Now, I get a list of CPUs and devices and it'll go off to download the data for the selected device.

Hi Stanislaw Klinke,

please what do you use for the Operating System?

Can you attach the screenshot of the error?

I´m including you the video, what I am able to see on my side.

Thank you for your feedback!

Best Regards,

Iva

Hi Iva,

I am using Windows 7, 64-bit.

Below the screenshot of the issue. Problem is simple, I cannot select an MCU - the list is empty.

Kind Regards,

Hi Stanislaw,

I tested on 3 computers, Win7, 64-bit with the same successful result.

Please, did you try uninstall and install again? Did you have any problems during the installation?

Did you download it from here Kinetis Power Estimation Tool|Freescale ?

Thank you for your feedback!

Best Regards,

Iva

It worked for me on a Win8.1

I was wondering what the schedule is of supporting processors Kinetis K

pastedImage_0.png

Processor support seems  good coverage on the Kinetis L and limited on the K - though appreciate its  V1.0 :smileyhappy:

I'm particularly interested in MK26FN

Playing with, I really like it is a visual manual for the processors - for instance on the MK22FN

playing with the  LPUART0 and UART0 for different baud rates is really valuable.

I have implemented a MK26FN and put into VLPS where it drops to 170uA - but includes the UART4 - so gives me some other ideas of what peripherals to play with. Looks a nice tool.

Hi Neil,

thank you for your feedback.

At the moment we cannot share such information about supported devices in future for this tool.

I will let you know in case of some changes.

Have a great day!

Iva
