Hello,

Cannot figure out how to use the latest desktop version of the MCUXpresso Config Tools version 5.0 with the ubuntu 16.04 based MCUXpresso IDE (mcuxpressoide toolchain) over the MIMXRT1060-EVK board.

Please help.

Hello Jing,

from the screenshots I can see you have both - MCUXpresso IDE and desktop tools.

1) Desktop tools do not support creating project for MCUXpresso IDE; MUCXpresso IDE should be used directly to create the project. Config Tools are in the IDE too.

2) It seems the from the MCUXpresso IDE screenshot, that there is problem with internet connection. At least once the tools needs internet connection in order to download data for selected processor.

  2a) Is your computer connected to the internet?

  2b) do you have some proxy involved in your environment?

What could help to resolve this issue is the LOG file from $HOME/.nxp/swtools.log - could you attach it here?
