Debug Logs not displayed on the console for FRDM_KL26Z

Am using KL26Z EVB and Kinetis design studio IDE along with KDSK1.3.0 . Could somebody help me in configuring UART0 to get the printf() execution on the console. The execution hangs when the control comes to the printf() statement.
