U-Boot 2016.092.0+ga06b209 (Mar 30 2017 - 01:15:01 +0800)
U-boot is not detecting my SATA drives.
Using: scsi reset
and no drives are found.
I have tried several different drives, cables and SATA ports with the same results.
Given the uboot will be polling the drives to figure which to boot, I am not going to be getting very far.
Interestingly, when the flash image of Linux is run, I see the drive is often detected but is disabled shortly after.
Any suggestions on what to try next ?
After looking at the switches N+1 times, I found two that were not set to the board default.
I suspect that:L
SW9 [7] SerDes2 clock spread-spectrum enable
was the culprit. I can now talk to SATA :-)
Now to get it to boot.....
Which board is in question?
If T2080RDB - please provide clear photo of the on-board inscriptions and stickers with revision information and settings of all configuration switches.
Please provide U-Boot booting log as attachment.
