Hi All,
Our Board use NXP LS1046A,In our board, we use SerDes1 Lane0,directly connect to SFP,without Phy;SerDes1 Lane1 connect to PHY GPY211,SerDes1 Lane3 connect to PHY RTL8211.
We have two hardware:
old HW:SRDS_PRTCL_S1=0x1333,(SFP 10G)
new HW:SRDS_PRTCL_S1=0x3333,(SFP 1G)
We want to use VSP in our new HW.I have some questions:
1.When I ping SPF(fm1-mac9) from PC,fail
2.I want to try VSP, how should I adapt it?
Hello,
To resolve the issues with your new NXP LS1046A hardware and set up VSP ensure your SerDes protocol configuration matches your hardware. Verify the SFP connection, check physical connections, and update the device tree to Patient Gateway reflect the new hardware setup. Enable VSP in the kernel configure it in U-Boot if necessary, and set it up in Linux using tools like ethtool and ip commands. Use dmesg and ethtool for debugging. Update the device tree with the correct PHY configurations for SerDes lanes and network interfaces.
