There are 3 EEPROMs on the ls1028ardb
In particular, the one at 0x57 is supposed to contain "board ID" information like serial number and MAC addresses.
To my surprise, the board was shipped with all EEPROMs empty (all bytes still set to 0xFF). Is that supposed to be the case?
This EEPROM should be write protectable, the information should be stored after shipping.
Please refer to the following value on my LS1028ARDB board.
