The question is only about high-level packet processing and how much processor performance this processing requires. For LS1043A processor - this device has DPAA networking accelerator for fast processing of networking traffic, and our public documentation guaranties performance up to 10 Gb/s:

For LS1020A device - this device does not have networking accelerator to offload network processing, so all processing will be performed by main core and performance will be limited by core speed. Our public documentation for this processor does not contain any guarantied numbers, please request official benchmark numbers and their reproducibility guides from our Sales/Marketing team via your distributor:
