LS2088A PCIe and NFA

Is there a high speed data path between the PCIe bus and the NFA engine in the LS2088A and is it able to run at the rated 10Gb/s speed.

Hello Michael McMinn,

QDMA can go across PCIe to access data, the PCIe EP can use QDMA to access data/buffers across PCIe to RC.

NFA engine(PME) belongs to DPAA, which is primarily for Ethernet because it has portal interface to QBMAN. The PME de-queues data from its QMAN hardware portal based on FQ configuration. QBMAN can be used to improve performance for data that are come in through the PCI bus.

PME supports ~10 Gbps data scanning.
