Hi NXP guys:
We found clock generator (5P49V5907B520NDGI) on LS1028ARDB can be programmed. Could you tell us about this clock generator is factory programmed configurations based on required settings? Does NXP contact Renesas factory for factory programming on this clock generator before making LS1028ARDB board?
Currently we can't get any differential output from clock generator 5P49V6967A000NDGI.

See the Section 2.3 of the LS1028ARDB board Reference Manual:
https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=LS1028ARDBRM
This Section contains the following:
The 5P49V5907B520NDGI is a programmable clock generator that generates most of the clocks. Clock configurations are stored in its one-time programmable (OTP) memory. The configuration in volatile memory can be changed through the I2C1_CH1 interface. The device is accessible at 0x6A I2C 7-bit address. The frequencies are generated from a 25 MHz crystal (603-25-261 from FOX Electronics).

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. We have known this information and want to clarify whether the clock generator 5P49V5907B520NDGI have been configured for factory programming according to NXP LS1028ARDB requirements before shipping to NXP. Because we want to buy Renesas programmable clock generator from Renesas distributor on our custom board. But we are not sure whether we need to tell Renesas to program clock generator for us according to our requirement. Can you clarify this question for us? Thank you very much.
