I am about to commence a design project using the LS1027 and I want to know more about the recommended clock generator device: 5P49V5907B520NDGI used in the example schematic. I presume this is a custom programmed part specific to the Layerscape Processor.
Renesas do not recommend the 5P49V5907 family for new designs. Does NXP have an alternate solution for the clock generator or will the 5P49V5907B520NDGI remain available?
