LS1021A NOR flash without CPLD

I am working NOR flash(IS29GL256) in LS1021A custom board without CPLD, but in LS1021A-TWR board having CPLD, via CPLD only NOR flash is working in EVK, but in my custom board NOR flash is not detecting, Is their any possibility, to make it work the NOR flash, without CPLD.

CPLD is not a must for a NOR Flash connection to the LS1021A - refer to the QorIQ LS1021A Reference Manual, 24.9.4.2 NOR flash connections.

Pay attention to address (IFC_LA) and data (IFC_LAD) bits ordering at the NOR Flash.
