I have a stand alone ls1021a device and my schematic is like this below:

My PC can't detect my ls1021a device over USB3.0 I want to configure it as OTG g_ether device.

I want to ask couple things here:

(1) for device mode is the USB1_ID should be floating or pull up

(2) do I need to add pull down resistors at USB1_D_M and USB1_D_P

(3) what else do I have to fulfill?

(4)

Is USB g_ether OTG is a A device or B device in the picture above?

(1) USB1_ID should be floating for device mode. See the following Application Note:

https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/design/technical-documents/tutorials/1/1822.html

(2) External resistors are not needed for the LS1021a USB1.  The LS1021a USB1 includes USB PHY. This PHY uses internal resistors.

(3) Use as example for USB using the TWR-LS1021a board schematic:

Have a great day,
