Incorporating Layerscape SDK in Debian Linux

We are using a Linux Debian Distro, from the literature it says we can incorporate the Layerscape SDK components into our own desired distro. Is this a correct interpretation? Can I build your kernel on a Debian host? And can the SDK components be incorporated into a Debian user space? Please clarify.

Hello Dale Chin,

Regarding building LSDK image in Debian host, please refer to section "Emulate Ubuntu 18.04 environment using Docker container (optional)" in LSDK 1906 user manual, which could be downloaded from Layerscape SDK | NXP.

Please run the following command to generate Debian rootfs filesystem.

$ flex-builder -i mkrfs -r debian  -a arm64
