IFC CONNECTION TO 16BIT NOR FLASH IN LS1043ARDB

We  are using  LS1043ARDB and as per schematic  diagram IFC connection to 16 bit NOR FLASH is in ADM-SHFT-MODE=0(as per LS1043A Reference manual figure 25.9). As per this mode, IFC_AD0 should be MSB and it should get connected to NOR FLASH  ADDRESS line A25. But IFC_AD1 is connected to A25 address pin of FLASH. Please clarify.

IFC_A26 is the LSB bit and  it should be left un connected( for 16 bit operation). but it is connected to A0  Address pin of NOR FLASH.Please clarify.

Hi @Pamid,

Please refer to figure 25-9 available in LS1043ARM which is the connection of x16 NOR for ADM MODE0. Please follow the connection details for your design.

In  LS1043A RDB-PD , 16 Bit NOR FLASH is connected to IFC interface of LS1043A.   As per this 

IFC_ADDR[1:15] is connected to A[25:11].

IFC_ADDR[16:26] is connected to A[10: 0].

But as per LS1043ARM  Fig:25-9, IFC_AD0  after address decoding should get connect to A25 address line of NOR FLASH. I am confusing while co-relating LS1043ARM  Fig:25-9 with 16 Bit NOR FLASH  connectivity in LS1043A RDB-PD. Please clarify.
