For our Layerscape processors we offer CodeWarrior IDE integrated development software and CodeWarrior TAP debug probe.
CodeWarrior TAP is debug probe is used with CodeWarrior software, if you wish to use CodeWarrior debuger functionality. Debugger functionality is used to debug software, to flash onboard flash on "bare" board, and to bring up custom boards, designed based on LS1028ARDB reference schematic.
