I am looking for debian/ubuntu based image for my LS1021A board. It is present in NXP web? or anywhere else? Could you please direct me. Thanks.

No, NXP does not directly support Ubuntu or Debian, we do not distribute them in any form. What we do support is Linux based QorIQ SDK which is more suited for embedded development than Linux distributions oriented to ready, end-user hardware.

In that case, is there any way forward to build an ubuntu 14.04

distribution using the SDK links that you provided. If possible can you

please guide me to right resource or documentation available online?
