Hi ,
i am using LPC link2 debugger to connect to the Cortex m4 target and when i try to debug an application through lpcxpresso ide i get target not connected error.
My redlink probe says :

redlink>ProbeStatus
Index = 1
Manufacturer = NXP Semiconductors
Description = LPCLINK2 Redlink
VID = , PID=00
Path = \
IsOpen = TRUE
WireInitialized = TRUE
WireProtocol = SWD
CoresConfigured = TRUE
PacketSize = 64
Probe Reference Count = 0
HasSWV = FALSE
HasETM = FALSE
HasJTAG = TRUE
HasSWD = TRUE
Probe Type = REDLINK
redlink>exit
[Closed]

What are these two fields?
HasSWV = FALSE
HasETM = FALSE
what can be deducted from it?

In the first place, make sure that the cable between your board and your probe is connected properly and the right way around.

Then see :

http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/regaining-debug-access

If you need further assistance, then please provide some details of your actual target, and also post the contents of your debug log and the actual error message in full:
