Sorry, but this thread has got so confusing, it is dififcult to work out exactly what you have really done. So please can you take a step back here and:

1)  With reference to http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/debug-design, please post the schematic of the debug/reset circuitry implemented on your board. Also as detailed in this FAQ confirm how you have the jumpers on your LPC-Link2.

2) Create a simple "Hello world" project using the LPCXpresso "C project (semihosting)" new project wizard for the LPC11E6x.

3) Boot your board into ISP mode : http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/regaining-debug-access

4) Select your hello world project in the Project Explorer view, then click on the Debug button in the Quickstart Panel.

5) If this does not successfully download and stop at the beginning of main(), post the Debug log:

http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/debug-log

Dear all,
as I have mot any experience in debug especially in SWD,

Would it be possible to help me step by step , I am confused   at the moment since I heard several things and read several files and all of them did be what I want.

what is means:
"
Error in final launch sequence
  Failed to execute MI command:
-break-insert -t -f main
Error message from debugger back end:
Cannot access memory at address 0x47e
Cannot access memory at address 0x47e

"

Thanks for any help provided,

Thanks again .

Sorry it is almost the first time I am going to use LPCexpersso ,
I have experience in IAR .

Actually I can not run it at all ! I don't know what I have to do for it's runing !

Yes I was booting into ISP, but when I did it in normal , Lpc_Link2 could not recognize core !!

I am absolutely sure that I pull-up a 1k ohm resistance for ISP ( PIO0_1)  .

at the moment I am ginig to check every thing again .

Sorry, not managed to access your video. But from your description I doubt this is anything to do with the code in your earlier flash issue. It sounds more like an known issue in the standard Eclipse Luna/CDT that sits under LPCXpresso - in that very occasionally the debug controls become unaccessible. This is currently under investigation.

We would certainly be interested in seeing your /.metadata/.log to see if this gives any clues as to the cause of this problem. Please can you ZIP this file up and attach?

Then, please try restarting LPCXpresso - both whilst a debug session is acitve (ie you are connected to the target) and also when not debugging. Does restarting in either case make the debug controls active again when you next start a debug session?

If not, try creating a new workspace and then import the projects across from your old workspace - does this fix things?

I've no idea what you are doing in detail and which hardware you are using...

Could be useful to describe it in detail and post your project...

Or just make a video...

Without informations it's very difficult to guess what you are doing...

Thanks for the kindly reply,
Now , It;s almost running but actually I can not  debug !!

I want to debug my firmware line by line and also see anything ,

I can not even see step over and like that in the top menu because those are disable !

I can speak and show its states at present for you if you have Viber or Telegarm  or something like that on your phone!

I don't know why but it is not all thing that I want for debug.

I have experience to work by IAR and Jlink for JTAG , that I can see and debug firmware and debug by lpc1168 .

the other problem maybe is for reset pin ?

There's no official list if Reset is used or not...

See: http://www.lpcware.com/content/forum/lpc15xx-minimal-swd

Therefore I would suggest to connect Reset (which is of course NReset = low active).

If a simple 4-wire SWD connection and closed JP2 is not working, it's time to check your board hardware...

Lpc_LINK2 ,as you can see, has a Reset pin , I'm not sure what I have to do , as you see this is Jtag Reset and I am using SWD , Beside this is reset and my core - Lpc11e68 - has nreset, so it is not of reset .

Actually my board has own power supply  so in fact it dose n't mater to close jp2

Nope:

http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/debug-design:

Quote:
On the LPC-Link2, when JP2 is shunted this will power the target side of the dual-supply buffer and provide power to the target through a diode on VTref.  With JP2 open the target must supply the VTref to power the target side of the dual-supply buffer.

Mentioned already several times here...

Hi, every body ,

I put jp2 ( in Lpc_Link2  ) in close position , and now it passed that situation ,

Actually my board has own power supply  so in fact it dose n't mater to close jp2 , Beside I haven't connected any wire except Swd_clk , Swdio and GND and reset .

by the way , it is working and program flash in SWD but I can not debug yet ,
Now step over and step into and etc in inactive !!

and I can only program no debug !!

Cortex-m0 is swd only. It does not have jtag. The problem is almost certainly in your debug circuit. Fix it and you will be able to debug!

I'm not sure as to what exactly you are doing, but the way to start a debug session is to use the QuickStart panel's Debug option. This should then automatically identify the debug probe connected to your PC and configure the debug session appropriately for your target.

I did it but it can not recognize the core!!

OK , now I want to debug by SWD, only it , but I have already a problem in core connection with lpc link2 ,
I can program by flash magic , and I am sure my core is ok and working .
but LED1 ( BOOTO-LED) in LPC LINK2 is blinking , I think it isn't normal  .

another thing that I want to ask is  , In SWD ,as you send me a link http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/debug-design] ,
in Cortex 10-pin 0.05" JTAG/SWD Connector Pinout , I  wired SWDIO , SWDCLK   to my borad , but nRESET should be connected to RESET of my board also or not ?

It seems that my problem is as similar as http://www.lpcware.com/content/forum/lpc-link-2-problem]

I strongly suggest that you go back and read the LPCXpresso User Guide (available within the product installl) that you have been pointed to previously. as well as watching the Rapid Embedded Development with LPCXpresso video available from http://www.lpcware.com/lpcxpresso.

Hi , Thanks a lot.

I saw that and I put pull up and pull down resistance that there were not in my board .
but it is not working yet .
I try to change from JTAG to SWD and wired it as the data sheet because I want to know is it only the problem in JTAG or not !

in lpc expersso 7.6.2  that I use , I can not find any place that can change debugger to SWD or JTAG .

I think , my major problem is in lpcexpersso , maybe I have not chosen correct debugger yet .

As you can see , there is not any DEBUG Protocol part !!

Hello again
Actually I had some problems in OS ,now I 'm trying in another PC that I suppose it is better ,I run Win7.

I use link link2 now , but it can not recognize core ,
in lpc link 2 in jp7 we have :

Should I  connect TMS , TCK,TDI , TDO to the same pins in core whit out any pull up or pull down ?
And also JTAG RESET to  TRST ?

I have n't make any wire for pines 7 and 1 in jp7 , so I am not sure that it is correct.

and what about RESET pin of core ?

I saw that I have to pull it down during JTAG debug .
