Hi! I had installed the last version of lpcxpresso (V6) but I can't debug using cmsis-dap! Use one ulink-2(original) configured with dap-bootloader but lpcxpresso simply does not find any debug devices! Other tool chains detect it! Any light in this trouble?

The lack of JTAG support is in a restriction in the layer that implements CMSIS-DAP  at present. We do intend adding JTAG support to the CMSIS-DAP support layer in a future release. At present if you want to do dual core debug connections to LPC43xx, you will need to use a non CMSIS-DAP connection, such as a Red Probe+, an LPC-Link1 (from an LPCXpresso board), or an LPC-Link2 (via our 'redlink' firmware, not CMSIS-DAP firmware).

Note that we have no plans to support debugging of ARM7 parts with CMSIS-DAP (or any 'redlink') connections. To debug such parts, you will need to continue to use Red Probe+ or LPC-Link1.

Regards,
LPCXpresso Support

Hi! I tested and it seems to work fine with swd (tested on a 4357) conection. But why not to add jtag support for it? Now lpcxpresso also handle with more ARM7 cores that only have jtag :( I hope it could be possible to have jtag support since other tools also offers cmsis-dap jtag support...

Please find attached a beta version of the debug driver that will support ULINK2 CMSIS DAP. Please try it out and let us know if it works for you. We plan to make this available in the next build of LPCXpresso 6.

To install, unzip the attached files and copy them into the INSTALL/lpcxpresso/bin directory, overwriting the existing files.

Please note that we do not support use of JTAG with CMSIS-DAP, so if you are using LPC43xx (or anything else that is using a JTAG connection) you must switch to use an SWD debug connection.
