Hi, I'm using a card lpcxpresso and I can not access the card. I have already connected the USB cable on the bottom and another in lpc usb link but everytime I try debbuger show message " cannot connect to emulator or board "

still have not found anything to help me, I am beginner in programming and hardware I'm lost because the documentation says nothing about it.

In my case, LPCXpresso IDE was not installed completely.

LPCXpresso IDE has two install module.
One is IDE and the other is the driver for USB connection.

At the final stage of the former's install process,
windows poped up warning dialogue that said " Installing this program
may cause serious problem"

I leave it a while without touching KB and mouse, install process was
ended with no message.

After that IDE run normally but The LPCXpresso Development Board was not recognized.

So, I installed the driver for USB connection only using IDE installer
with only second box checked.

After this, connecting The LPCXpresso Development Board to USB port,
two process was occured,
one; USB device with DFU capabilityes appeared in the device manager treee.
Two; after run debug of IDE , installing The LPCXpresso Development Board driver
with two windows warning dialogue.

I think the problem is that you have somehow created your own debug configuration and this is screwing things up

From Project Explorer, select a project, right-click and choose Launch configurations->Delete Launch Configurations

Then, from the Quickstart panel, press the Debug button, and a correctly configured debug session will be started.

99+% of customer have no issues in setting up the environment. So, some suggestions:
- try replacing your USB cable. This is the most common reason for failure
- ensure the USB cable us plugged directly into your PC and not a hub

If that doesn't improve things, You need to provide some more details:
- which operating system and version are you using?
- which version of LPCXpresso are you using?
- when starting a debug session, do you see a splash screen "initialising LPC-Link"?
- zip up and attach the file <workspace>/.metadata/.log

Lets go back to square 1.

1. Try removing the LPCXpresso board from the baseboard and using it standalone
2. Read the instructions in the Getting Started guide to follow how to get a simple project loaded, built and debugged. Please be careful to follow the instructions.

The Getting Started guide ins installed in the root of your installation directory, or you can get a copy from here:

ok ... after making the last steps recommended that the error apareace to me is the following message when trying debugger .... "Plug-in" com.crt.ctrlcenter "was unable to instantiate class" com.crt.ctrlcenter.misc.CRTEmbeddedCommandFactory.

[/COLOR]Tells me that the problem may be a bug of windows and sends me out again and put the usb cable in the pc and it has not worked. The more I can no longer advance the message is always the same. Anyone know what can I do?

You haven't mentioned this directly, but from your description, I think you are using an LPCXpresso baseboard from Embedded Artists.

Have you registered the board on the Embedded Aretists website? When you do this, you get access to documentation and FAQs, and I think you will find the answer to your problems in there.

I did the port configuration and installation with the driver successfully as indicated in the manual. I did what the link "In the first place, check:

I'm using windows xp sp3 operating system.
I am using lpc1343 board and a base board lpc link.
where I connect the USB cable to force the bottom plate beside the reset button and a USB cable on the board lpc link in output as the manual says that is to make the debugger.
the message that appears is just a screen telling you that I can not connect to the emulator or on the board. Nothing appears in the message box.

If this does not help to get you started then please provide more details of your setup, including:
