I'm new to LPCXpresso and the Eclipse IDE.  Just unpacked my board today.  Every time I start a debug session, this Windows error comes up:

"crt_emu_cm3_nxp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close..."

The debug session seems to work OK, but getting the error every time bothers me.  Is this a bug in the IDE or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

This is a little curious. In the first place can you provide a bit more information on your setup...

What operating system are you using? And are you running it natively or via a virtual machine.

What version of the LPCXpresso IDE are you using?

Which LPCXpresso board are you connecting to?

Are you connecting the LPCXPresso board directly to your PC's USB   port, or via a USB hub. If via a hub, then try connecting directly. If   directly, try via a powered hub (we don't normally recommend the use of a   hub, but if you have a power issue with the USB ports on your PC, then   this might help.

Do you have any other hardware connected the the LPCXPresso board   (external hardware, including, for example, an Embedded Artists   baseboard). If so, try removing it.
One possibility that might be causing this is the use of "cscript". It might be worth you have a look at previous threads regarding this and see if anything in these gives you any clues when mapped onto the PC in front of you. Do a google search using "cscript site:knowledgebase.nxp.com" to find these.
