I have an old laptop with Windows XP that I'd like to use as a simple flash programmer to download code to installed LPC uCs. I use a Red Probe + adapter by the way.

Is there any way of installing LPCXpresso on an XP machine or maybe just the drivers for the Red Probe + to allow me to do this please?

The last version of LPCXpresso IDE tested on Windows XP was v7.0.2:

which was released shortly before Microsoft withdrew XP support.

This is still available to download.

You might want to search the forums for experience of other users trying to use WinXP though. You might find some later versions of LPCXpresso IDE still work, but we certainly would not provide any guarantees. I'm fairly certain that the latest v8.0.0 won't work though.

The other option of course with an old laptop that can't be upgraded to, say Windows 7, might be to consider installing a supported Linux distribution on it.
