We are using a winbond W25Q128FV (SOIC / VSOP 208-mil) which we now want to replace with an lpcspifilib-compatible IC (without too much pain, pin-compatible would be great).

In UM10430 (lpc18xx) chapter 4.3.6.4.1 the supported QSPI devices are listed. What does "SPIFI API available at LPCWare.com" mean? Is this the old API or lpcspifilib?
If lpcspifilib is meant: in Version 0.06 there are no drivers for the Micron and the Winbond devices. Also the Macronix MX25L12835F is the only one directly supported (but it seems like the others can be added easyly to an existing family).
- With which version of which API are the listed devices tested?
- The MX25L12835F seems to be compatible to our W25Q128FV but it is not supported in "spifilib_fam_mac_2b_stat.c". Can you confirm that this chip is tested with lpcspifilib?
- Spansion S25FL164-K is also vailable in a pin-compatible SOIC 8 package but not listed in the user manual. Is it compatible with or easily added to lpcspifilib?
- Do you know of other ICs that are compatible with or easily added to lpcspifilib with at least 64M-bit and a SOIC-8 package?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
