Secondary bootloader and CRP

Quick question about using a secondary bootloader and CRP.
I'm using an LPC11U24/LPC11U37.

From my understanding the chip only checks the CRP value on boot at address 0x02fc.
Since the secondary bootloader will be in the flash from 0x0000 to 0x2000 and the application will be from 0x2000 to 0x20000.
Does this mean that the CRP value can only be set when the bootloader is flashed and it is useless to specify a CRP value in the application since it would land at 0x22fc?

Could the application use IAP to overwrite the CRP value in the secondary bootloader's flash space at 0x02fc at a later time?  Would the new CRP value then be in effect on the next reset of the chip?   Or can the CRP value only be changed when the bootloader is flashed?

CRP value must indeed be located at address 0x2FC, so therefore any required CRP value must be included in the secondary bootloader image.

The application could only modify the CRP level if it would overwrite the secondary bootloader, which is usually not recommended. Any CRP change becomes effective only after the device has gone through a power cycle.
