Read adc module repeatedly , will it affect adc peripheral in long run

Will repeatedly reading adc peripheral in infinite module affects the hardware in long run.
I have task which has to run after certain adc value comes.
So I keep on reading adc value in infinite loop.

I am using lpc1317-64P with 72Mhz core clock
