I have configured my drive for positive and negative pulse train and I am using QEI interface for counting my pulses. But if I dont give any value to the register FILTERA and FILTERB I'm not getting the accurate values. While If I give any value to the registers I'm getting the exact amount of counts irrespective of the counts specified. I am trying to give forward and reverse for specified amount of counts and without FILTER A and FILTER B I m getting erratic counts. Is it mandatory to use these registers?
