Hi,
I am using LPC1769 and LPC Expresso_7.3.0_186
I am using 64 bit windows 7. I was able to run the program in the Debug mode. But it is not possible to use the "Program Flash" option.
I am getting an error like this:
"53: License does not permit flash operations from the command line"

I tried reactivation also. But still i am getting the same problem. Please give a solution to this problem.

Not much more we can do to help then. I suggest that you sit down and compare your setup with your colleagues in order to work out why their systems work and your's doesn't. Please report back if you identify the issue.

You really should try to sort out why you are getting the error about the DLL too. That should have been installed during the install process and we have never seen a case where this has not occurred.

Sorry, but this does not show anything obviously wrong, so lets try some more things:

1. Open a command window
2. type:
c:\nxp\LPCXpresso_7.3.0_186\lpcxpresso\bin\Scripts\LPCXpressoPath.cmd
3. type:
set
4. type:
ipconfig/all
5. type:
crt_emu_cm3_nxp -info-license

Please post ALL of the output from running these commands

So this would indicate an environmental issue with your computer.

Please open a DOS command prompt (Go to the start menu and enter 'cmd' into the "Search programs and files" box), then enter the following sequence of commands…

env > envinfo.txt
ipconfig >> envinfo.txt
cscript >> envinfo.txt

And post the envinfo.txt file created.

The missing DLL message you are seeing is somewhat concerning. Did the drivers not successfully install during your original LPCXpresso installation ? It might be a good idea to try uninstalling then installing again from scratch.

But that aside, please can you:

- Confirm the actual command you are using to try to program the flash?

- Confirm the full output generated when you run the command?

You should be able to copy and paste these into this thread as text whether you are invoking the flash program from the command line or the GUI flash program tool.

Please also confirm what target MCU you are trying to program, and which debug probe you are connecting with. If you are using LPC-Link2, please also confirm if you are using redlink firmware (preferred) or CMSIS-DAP.

Please also confirm what OS you are running on.

Hi,

I followed the instructions given in the FAQ. There is no problem in script engine. It is working fine.
Still i am facing problem in using "Program Flash" option and getting the error like this:
"53: License does not permit flash operations from the command line"

So i have run the debug driver in the diagnostic mode as suggested in the FAQ and i am am attaching the licence info file and .log file here.
Please go through it and provide a solution to this issue.

The error being reported is nothing to do with the size of the image. Please READ the FAQ we provided (especially the Windows section) and follow the instructions.

However, please note that the size of the file on disk (as reported by dir) is NOT the size of the image in flash.

We have some information on how to find the amount of flash used by your application here:
http://support.code-red-tech.com/CodeRedWiki/FlashRamSize
(this is an old Code Red FAQ which we have not yet ported to LPCWare - the information is still valid, however).

Hello,

to reduce the size of .axf file you may need to optimize your code. In other hand, to increase the maximum limit you need to purchase a Pro edition account.

Best regards,

Thank you for your reply.
I read the FAQ mentioned by you.
The size of .axf file generated is 315 KB. But the limit is 256 KB.

So how can i reduce the size of .axf file?
Or is it possible to increase the maximum limit.
