Hi,

I'm considering to get myself a LPC1343 LPCXpresso board to prototype a HID device, but I am wondering if it is possible to use the debugger on a program that uses the USB port to register the device as an HID. So, is it possible?

Thanks,

Thilo

The right way is to use a transistor (or more elegant a FET) as shown in my schematic / board to switch 1.5k pullup to D+ :)

So USB_VBUS and USB_CONNECT can be used.

Thank you Zero, thats the FET I was looking for :-)

Hi,

thanks. The user manual you linked provides an example for using the usb connector, but it also mentions that it's not the "right way" to do it. Where can I find information for a complete connection circuit?

Thanks,

Thilo

That's not the same USB port. LPCXpresso's USB is used for LC-Link (=Debugger via SWD).

You have to add another USB connector to use the target board USB, so debugging target USB is possible :)
