Newbie: How to flash AXF file to MCU using ISP method ?

Hi,

I have LPCxpresso IDE and custom target board having LPC812.

Should I need external tool like Flash Magic in order to program the LPC812 flash in ISP method ?

Doesnt LPCxpresso have in-built flash tool for ISP method ?

Please clarify.

LPCXpresso IDE cannot talk directly via an ISP serial port connection, you need a debug probe. Alternatively for ISP connections, Flash Magic is the recommended tool to use.

Anyway, I strongly suggest that you get yourself an LPC-Link2, so that you can download and debug your code directly from LPCXpresso IDE...

You might want to consider an off-the-shelf board with a built in debug probe too for early development work too...
