Since LPC-Link requires a minimal connection of 4 wires (J4: SWDIO, SWDCLK, Reset, GND), LPC-Link2 isn't working with 4 wires (J6: SWDIO, SWDCLK, Reset, GND).

EA isn't supporting me with an official schematic, so I've to use the unofficial.

Does Link2 need any other connections? SWO?

After several tests we decided to add R38 (1k / 402). That's supplying enough current to use Link2 without JP2 and also without external supply from target.

So a simple 4-wire SWD connection is working without problems with LPC-Link2 (just as LPC-Link) and a 'full' SWD connection via 10pin Cable to a self powered target is also possible.

Thanks to all who helped to solve this (Mike, who dug out the unofficial schematic http://knowledgebase.nxp.com/showthread.php?t=4617 and last not least my favorite forum ex-members...)
