Hello all,

I can leave the crystal input (XI) disconnected when not in use? The processor (LPC111x) takes care automatically?

Yes, that was the experiment: put a bridge between the capacitor pads of the crystal pin XI.

A better idea is to connect XIN to ground, to set input of CMOS amplifier to some reasonable state.

I did some experiments:
- Necessary to use the XI pin.
- Energy consumption decreased 1 mA.
