I will soon get my hands on one lpsxpresso board (lpc1343)
I have to connect it with a camera that runs at 5V

Can i power my cam from board?
In case i power my cam externally i have to connect both grounds right?
And use resistors in order to lower power at pins at 3.2V right?

Hey,

Nice to see you here too

What does this mean?

That i should provide power supply not just input/output?

I don't like living on the edge i will still use some conversion

What about the GND i mentioned?

:)

Yes, it's the same with most chips - they don't like voltages on the inputs unless they are powered.

The LPC1343 has 5V-tolerant I/Os. You might need level conversion, it depends on the camera signals.
